BESTA Top Cover Panel Supermatte

Give your BESTA a glow-up with our 64cm long x 42cm wide top cover panel in Supermatte. This top cover panel is designed to cover the exposed top of your BESTA carcass, creating a beautiful, bespoke result to complement the rest of your space.

Our tops are sized to allow for the BESTA frame with a cover panel at each end. Our top panels are slightly deeper than the cabinet frame, so the front edge sits ‘flush’ with your Ren door face, giving a high-end finish.

Tops are designed to be attached by screwing the top cover panel from the inside of the BESTA cabinet. Please refer to our installation guidelines for more information.

• BESTA cover panels are suitable for low-wear and low-impact use only.
• Supermatte is a premium-quality laminate preferred and specified by interior designers and architects.
• Supermatte doors, drawers, cover panels and plinths are finished to the front face with a colour-matched liner on the reverse, and matching ABS edging (a type of edging strip to finish cabinetry) to all sides.
• Made from 18mm thick , high-quality, E0 moisture resistant Medium-Density Fibreboard (MDF).
• The maximum length for BESTA tops is 240cm. If your BESTA project is longer, we recommend purchasing multiple tops for cutting to size and joining them with a Zipbolt™ fastener.

Please consider the following installation and safety tips for your BESTA project:

• Fronts and cover panels add significant additional weight to your BESTA cabinet. The wall anchor attachments provided with your IKEA cabinet must be installed in every instance, even on low height cabinets.
• For wall hung installation, you should carefully consider the total cabinet weight, wall type and appropriate fixings to ensure the cabinet is completely secure on the wall.
• We strongly recommend professional installation by a qualified tradesperson. We cannot be held responsible for any property damage or injury caused by inadequate installation.
